Following a survey we found out that over 70% of parents use Facebook on a regular basis. Having seen success at other schools, we have decided to trial a school facebook page, to communicate fast moving news, plus reports and photos on events. If you do not have an account, you will still be able to see all the posts here on our website. Make sure you like our page to ensure you're getting the latest!
Getting creative for the birds.
The whole of Reception and KS1 took part in making bird fat balls, kindly organised by Galliford Try.
Galliford Try are currently carrying out works on the A47 and are working closely with our school to help protect and support the environment while the works are taking place.
The children had a fantastic time getting involved and learning more about how we can help look after our local wildlife. 🌳🐦
A big thank you to Galliford Try for organising such a lovely and educational activity for our children!

Well what an amazing day we had for the team leader training. The children seemed to be excited as they made new friends from Hockering School who came over to join us for the day. They were all inspired, very eager and creative, especially when they had to adapt their tasks. It was a fun filled day with lots of ideas being shared and new games created so that they can deliver them at lunchtimes to the children in our school. They have an abundance of ideas going forward for lunchtime clubs which are now well underway.
We are very proud that we have achieved our Green Flag Award in recognition of excellence in improving sustainability and environmental learning.
